General Endowment Fund
This fund provides flexibility to the Community Foundation to respond to the current needs of the community through grants to charitable organizations in Red Deer and surrounding area.
Field of Interest Funds
These funds are established to benefit a specific cause or sector of the community. Each year, the Board of Directors identifies appropriate organizations and programs that can help fulfill the donor’s charitable intentions.

Fund dedicated to music education, civic and humanitarian projects.
Big Valley Community Fund
Established to support community projects and organizations in the community of Big Valley.
Care for Kids Fund
Established to cover registration costs of City of Red Deer recreation programs for children who otherwise would not be able to attend.
Central Alberta Personal Disaster Fund
Initially established to support needs of the victims of the 1998 Apartment fire and provide funds to the Red Cross for its services. The balance is now held in this fund to be used in the future when similar situations arise.
